In-Depth Argentine Tango Classes
- with Teachers John & Felicity Flower
Learn to dance Argentine Tango with technique
that has been developed from many years of study and tuition. Learn
how to lead or follow easily, avoiding the mistakes placing you
in off balanced, uncontrolled positions.
The structure of the classes is to combine the personal teaching
experience of a private lesson with the social interaction gained
from a group class learning situation. Students will naturally be
of different levels and abilities so we will work on concepts and
general technique with the class as a group as well as working individually
round the class with students giving them advice that is relevant
to their personal level and skill set.
This is a great way to have fun, learning Tango
with a small friendly group of fellow dance students while enjoying
the benefits of more individual attention than a larger group class.
Classes are held in our Onehunga
home dance studio, with an amazing 100 year old heritage
Kauri sprung floor and mirrored walls.
These are small classes with a minimum of 2 couples and up to 3
couples (or a small group of friends 4+). We can run evening classes
on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday depending on the groups availability.
The cost is $25 per person. Cash payment on the night (please
bring exact money).
We welcome new students. You can arrange to start any week.
Contact us if you would like to try a
class or have further questions. If you don't have a dance partner
still get in touch as we may be able to form a class with other
individuals or you may have a group of friends to form a class together
(minimum 4 people).
All levels are welcome, just bring your questions
and enthusiasm to learn :)
