SOLES
Dance Pasion stocks Men's
& Ladies shoes in both leather and chromium
(suede) soles.
Leather soles are becoming more popular for dancers
as they are more versatile for wearing both on and
off the dance floor. (They also double as comfortable
stunning evening shoes for non-dance wear).

Leather
|
Strong
and durable. Suitable for street wear as well
as dance floors.
Dance Tip: leather can be a bit slippery
on dance floors when brand new so try brushing
the sole with a wire brush or stepping on dry
concrete in the shoes to roughen the sole a
bit before use.
Street wear Tip: if the shoes are likely
to have heavy street wear on rough concrete
a rubber sole can be put on to lengthen the
life of the shoes. Contact

Suede
(cromo)
|
In
Argentina this is known as "Cromo"
and forms the complete integral sole (not just
a thin half-sole stuck on). This makes for a
lighter more flexi shoe. Cromo is great for
use on wooden dance floors. Not suitable for
street wear.
Dance Tip: new suede is a grippier sole
but over time polishes up and becomes more slippery.
To restore your old suede soles try brushing
them with a wire brush to put some traction
back in the suede. |

Leather
with a half suede sole glued on top. We only
have a couple of shoes in stock with this type
of sole. Not suitable for street wear unless
you don't mind ruining the suede surface. |
